| Solar Panels are groups of solar cells connected in series and in parallel to meet current voltage and power requirements of a spacecraft. Panels are designed to provide End-Of-Life power specifications to meet customer mission requirements. A group of solar panels joined together make up a solar array. Pioneer 1, launched in 1958, carried the first body-mounted panels used in space. |
